BlueLoon Farm receives it's Organic Certification!!

As of December 2014 BlueLoon Farm is now a certified organic farming operation!  Certified by the Midwest Organic Services Association (MOSA), an accredited certifying agency, under the guidelines of the National Organic Program (NOP)standards, BlueLoon Farm lists, Dairy (milk), eggs, and qualifying beef.  Now that the land is under certification, any item we grow or raise following the NOP standards will be a certified organic product  Attaining this certification has been a goal of our farm since it's inception.  We do this for the philosophy of certified organic and the integrity which backs the process.

The direct connection between consumer and farmer is a link we strive to build and maintain.  Knowing where the food comes from and how it is raised/grown is paramount.  Periodically throughout the season we will post event happenings on this page where we encourage our CSA members to participate.  Members can take part in various phases of seasonal produce work; transplanting, cultivating, harvesting, as well as sessions in how to preserve food so nothing of what you receive goes to waste.  The loss of ones connection to where food should truly come from is a loss we do not accept and will do our part to eliminate the gap, we just need you to do yours.
